Core assembly process

1. Pre-treatment before disassembly

Oil line closed
Use special plugs to close the fuel pipe and coolant pipe to prevent residual liquid from contaminating the work area.

2. Deep cleaning process

(1) Preliminary decontamination
The cylinder body, cylinder head and other large parts are soaked in 45℃ ultrasonic cleaner for 10 minutes to decompose the surface oil film.
High-pressure water gun (pressure> 120Bar) to flush the dust in hidden parts such as radiator and mudguard.
(2) Fine processing
The complex structure such as piston ring groove and crankshaft oil passage is manually washed, and the stubborn carbon deposits are removed with alkaline degreasing agent.
Compressed air is used to dry the water in the precision parts such as camshaft bearing housing.
(3) Assembly of basic parts
The cylinder is fixed on the flipping frame. When installing the crankshaft, molybdenum disulfide grease is applied, and the bolt torque is increased to 120N·m in three steps.
(4) Motion component matching
The piston ring opening is misaligned by 120°, and the gap of the connecting rod bearing is controlled by plastic line gauge to 0.03-0.06mm.
(5) Timing system calibration
The dedicated positioning tool aligns the crankshaft-camshaft timing marks and pre-presses the chain tensioner to the specified scale.

Final inspection and debugging

Cold test
The stand simulates the working condition of 0-3000r/min, and detects the oil pressure (idle speed is greater than 1.5Bar) and abnormal sound.
hot running-in
Step load test (2 hours):
0-30 minutes: 1500r/min, load 20%
30-90 minutes: 2200r/min, load 50%
The discharge temperature (≤650℃) and vibration amplitude are detected at the end.

Maintenance and fault prevention

Rust prevention treatment

Apply water-based rust inhibitor (pH value 7.5-8.5) on the metal surface to form a protective film.
Common faults: excessive lubricating oil or piston ring wear can lead to blue smoke in exhaust, and long-term low load operation (<40% power) aggravates component loss.
Maintenance suggestions: Check the condition of air filter, fuel filter and lubricating oil regularly, and replace worn parts in time; pay attention to the clearance of cylinder liner to avoid oil entering the combustion chamber.
